KPP in New Zealand

Though KPP has Ministry of Health support, participation by DHBs is entirely voluntary. In a relatively short time, ten of New Zealand's 21 boards have joined the project and others are expressing interest.

Barry Welsh (Ministry of Health) and David King (Auckland University) have led the project from its inception (see Who We Are).

A Progress Report by Barry and David, written in August 2005, is available for download here (2 page acrobat .pdf file). In October 2005 a workshop was held in Auckland (see report (5 page acrobat .pdf file).

One result of the October workshop was development of a KPP Kit, for use in New Zealand.

Some downloadable resources are available which illustrate the development of KPP in New Zealand - please click here.
